Popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps, has returned with his much-beloved podcast The Ranveer Show, after the furore over the India’s Got Latent controversy. Nevertheless, fans continue to be most keen on learning: When will comedian Samay Raina be back on stage?
Ranveer did that and much more in an open AMA session on Instagram, where he answered queries from fans regarding the aftermath of the viral controversy and looked back at how it affected his personal and professional life.
Ranveer on Samay Raina’s Return
When one fan asked if he is still in contact with Samay Raina, Ranveer replied affectionately, sayin
“Samay will return. We all have become closer after what happened. Stand by one another in good times as well as bad times. My brother is (already) a media legend. God is looking after all of us. Just wanna say, love you @ashishchanchlani & @the.rebel.kid too. Picture abhi baaki hai…”
This assurance has brought renewed hope among fans waiting for Samay’s comeback to stand-up comedy and content creation.

Ranveer Speaks Out About What He Lost
Ranveer also posted a personal message on what he lost due to the backlash:
“Lost: Health, money, opportunity, repute, mental health, peace, parents’ contentment and much more. Gained: Transformation, spiritual growth, toughness. Will slowly work towards getting back everything that’s lost. Let the work speak.”
This moment of vulnerability struck a chord with his audience, many of whom appreciated his honesty and resilience.
What Was the Controversy?
Back in February, Ranveer appeared on India’s Got Latent, a comedy show hosted by Samay Raina, alongside fellow content creators Ashish Chanchlani and Apoorva Mukhija. A few remarks made during the episode, especially those related to parents and sex, led to intense criticism on social media.
Even after releasing a video apology, several FIRs were registered against the makers and producers of the show.
On March 3, India’s Supreme Court granted Ranveer permission to continue posting on YouTube and social media. He was, however, directed to file an undertaking that The Ranveer Show would be decent and moral, and remain fit for all ages to watch.
After the controversy:
Apoorva Mukhija wiped her social media clean but later came back with a video of her side of the story.
Ashish Chanchlani also posted a sentimental video reminiscing about his experience.
With Ranveer’s comeback and his podcast live once again, fans are praying that this is the beginning of a new chapter not only for him—but for the whole creator crew involved.
