Salman Khan death threat news has once again rocked the film industry. A 26-year-old Gujarati man from Vadodara’s Waghodia area has been named as the individual behind a new threat to Bollywood star Salman Khan. The accused is said to have sent a threat stating that he would go to the actor’s Mumbai home and put a bomb in his vehicle.
What Did the Threat Say?
The chilling message was delivered through the Mumbai Traffic Police’s WhatsApp helpline on Sunday, April 13. It spoke of severe physical injury to Salman Khan, who is protected with Y-Plus security, and even said that a bomb would be put inside his car.
This is the latest in Salman Khan death threats, which exactly a year ago had gunshots fired outside his Bandra home.
Police Action & Suspect Details
Mumbai Police promptly coordinated with Gujarat Police and found the suspect’s residence in a village at Waghodia. A case has been lodged under Section 351 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The suspect has been summoned to present himself before Mumbai Police within 2-3 days.
During further investigation, the police discovered that the suspect is mentally unstable and receiving treatment. Vadodara SP Rohan Anand told the media this and also added that a team from Mumbai Police had gone to the suspect’s house along with local police officers.
Increased Security at Salman Khan’s House
Following the threat, security has been increased outside Salman Khan’s Bandra home. The actor has faced multiple threats over the past few years, especially from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang.

Salman Khan Reacts to Ongoing Death Threats
When asked about the threats during an off-camera press interaction for his upcoming movie “Sikandar”, Khan said calmly:
“Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai”
(It’s all up to God. I’ll live as long as I’m meant to.)
History of Threats Against Salman Khan
1998 Blackbuck Poaching Case: The Lawrence Bishnoi gang issued threats due to the alleged killing of two blackbucks, which the Bishnoi community considers sacred.
Extortion Demands: Khan was asked to either publicly apologize at a temple or pay Rs 5 crore. A second threat demanded Rs 2 crore.
