Several Indian curriculum schools in the United Arab Emirates have announced an early end-of-year break for students. School authorities revised their academic calendars to provide the early holiday while ensuring that examinations and results are completed on schedule.
School leaders have assured parents and students that the changes will not affect the learning process. They said the academic year will conclude smoothly despite the adjustments in the timetable.
Exams Completed Before Holiday
According to school officials, most institutions completed their examinations before announcing the break. Abhilasha Singh, principal of Shining Star International School in Abu Dhabi, said that exams ended on March 6.
She explained that the examination period began on February 16 and both primary and secondary students have already finished their assessments. The final week of exams was conducted online, ensuring that the schedule continued without disruption. Teachers will now work remotely to compile and finalise results while closely monitoring developments during this uncertain period.
