Earlier Trailer Rumours Created Confusion
Earlier reports suggested that the trailer would arrive on March 3, just a day before Holi. Many entertainment portals shared the news, which quickly spread across social media platforms and created strong expectations among fans.
However, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh stepped forward to clear the confusion. In a post on X, he said that the makers had never announced any official trailer release for that date. He also pointed out that several media reports circulated unverified information. His clarification helped settle the rumours and shifted attention back to the official update regarding the Dhurandhar 2 trailer release.
Dhurandhar 2 Will Release in Multiple Languages
The upcoming sequel will reach a much larger audience than the first film. While the original movie released only in Hindi, Dhurandhar 2 will arrive in theatres on March 19 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
Filmmaker Aditya Dhar wrote and directed the film, while Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar handled the production. The multilingual release shows the makers’ confidence in the film’s scale and storytelling.
Box Office Clash With Toxic Avoided
Initially, the film industry expected a major box-office clash between Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic, the much-talked-about project starring Yash. Both films had targeted March 19 as their release date.
Later, the team behind Toxic postponed the movie to June 4. The makers explained that the ongoing conflict in the Middle East created challenges for the film’s global release strategy. This decision removed the potential clash and allowed Dhurandhar 2 to enjoy a clear release window.
